In a study, 6-14% muscle pain and lower levels of myopathy were observed in those who used cholesterol lowering drugs. Muscle weakness and muscle aches should be investigated in detail by clinical examination, laboratory, EMG and muscle biopsy examinations, and differential diagnosis should be made.
